Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a high-functioning Real Estate Attorney to join their team. You will work alongside the founding principal and a seasoned litigator who will provide comprehensive litigation support, allowing you to focus heavily on transactional work rather than litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute high-level real estate transactions, representing both buyers and sellers.
  • Draft, review, and manage complex real estate contracts, closing documents, title commitments, notes, mortgages, and surveys.
  • Oversee business leverage transactions, entity formations (Florida entities), and basic corporate filings.
  • Review estoppels, rules, and declarations with a solid understanding of HOA and COA guidelines.
  • Oversee files and coordinate with support staff for lien mitigation, evictions, and file preparation.
  • Collaborate directly with the principal attorney and leverage support from a seasoned litigator for any contentious matters.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience specializing in real estate law and business transactions (non-litigation focus).
  • Juris Doctor (JD) with active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
  • Strong command of real property purchase and sale, lending, and business transactions.
  • In-depth knowledge of notes, mortgages, satisfactions, and judgments.
  • Familiarity with Clio legal case management software is a significant plus.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership qualities with a strong desire for growth and equity partnership.
