Overview: 
 
Our client is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their litigation team. This role is ideal for a driven self-starter who can seamlessly interact with clients, manage case files, and collaborate with senior attorneys to develop winning case strategies. You will handle everything from legal research to courtroom appearances. 
 
They welcome attorneys coming from the Plaintiff side, Insurance Defense, or the State’s Attorney office who are ready to elevate their litigation careers.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Research case law, regulations, and statutes to support case preparation and legal advice
• Draft, review, and edit legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, subpoenas, and briefs
• Gather information from clients, provide case updates, and address concerns
• Coordinate and file all discovery documents involving attorneys and clients
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to prepare cases for trial, including organizing evidence and exhibits
• Represent clients in court proceedings under the supervision of senior attorneys
• Assist in the development of legal strategies and solutions
• Participate in business development and community functions to maintain and build client relationships

Qualifications 

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the State of Florida (in good standing).
• 3+ years of experience handling Personal Injury and/or Medical Malpractice cases is highly preferred.
• Experience with FileVine case management software is a major plus.
