Job Description

Job Title: Optometrist
Job Type: Full Time (Onsite)
Location: Moon Township, PA

Job Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled and passionate Doctor of Optometry (OD) to join their fast-growing national eye care organization. This position offers a unique blend of corporate stability and private-practice style clinical autonomy. Rather than boxing you into a rigid corporate mold, leadership actively supports a full-scope clinical approach, giving you the freedom to utilize your entire skillset and practice precisely how you see fit to deliver top-tier patient care.

The practice environment is collaborative and high-energy, featuring modern diagnostic equipment, an established patient base, and a fully trained technical team. It is an ideal setting for both seasoned providers and new graduates looking for a supportive infrastructure, specialized peer mentorship, and a strong community presence.

What’s In It For You

  • Tailored Financial Packages: Highly competitive base salary with zero fixed caps.
  • Customized Incentives: Flexibility to heavily weight your package toward significant sign-on bonuses, high-yield production bonuses, or premium performance incentives.
  • Schedule Options: Flexible full-time (4+ days/week) and select part-time schedules are available.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Premium medical, dental, and vision coverage, continuing education (CE) allowances, paid malpractice insurance, and retirement matching (for full-time roles).

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Providing comprehensive, full-scope eye examinations and personalized patient care.
  • Diagnosing, managing, and treating ocular diseases and conditions to the full extent of Pennsylvania licensure.
  • Prescribing corrective lenses, contact lenses, and other specialized vision aids.
  • Maintaining accurate, detailed digital patient records within our modern EMR system.
  • Collaborating with an experienced, in-office optometric technician and a dedicated optical team to ensure a seamless patient flow.
  • Contributing to a practice culture that values “patients first,” professional autonomy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school of optometry.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Optometrist in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • A clinical mindset focused on full-scope care, patient education, and long-term relationship-building.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with an experienced support staff.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work a schedule that includes at least two (2) Saturdays per month.
