Job Overview:

Our client is seeking an on-site Legal Assistant with heavy personal injury experience skills. 

As a Legal Assistant, you will provide crucial support to an experienced partner and play an essential role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of daily activities.

  
Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $55,000–$65,000 per year, based on experience and performance
• Health insurance (medical, dental, and vision)
• Retirement plan with a company match of up to 3% of your salary
• 15 paid days off each year for vacation or personal time
• 9+ paid holidays, plus extra time off at the partners’ discretion
• Bonuses may be given during the year, including a possible holiday bonus

  
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys specializing in Personal Injury.
• Assist in trial preparation.
• Manage attorneys’ schedules, and preparing them for meetings and court appearances.
• Take initiative to anticipate attorneys’ needs and streamline workflows.
• Communicate with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, and other third parties.
• Review, organize, and analyze case materials.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery documents, and other legal forms.
• Conduct legal research and provide other support duties as required.

  
Qualifications:

• Proven working at least 2 years of experience as legal assistant/paralegal
• Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols under State and Federal court systems
• Excellent writing and typing skills
• Ability to draft basic legal forms/documents
• Proficient in calendaring/docketing of court mandated appointments
• Comfortable communicating with clients on a day-to-day basis
