Job Title: Family Law Attorney

Overview:
 
Our client is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney with at least 8 years of practice to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity for an attorney who excels in comprehensive case management, strategic case development, and delivering high-quality legal counsel to clients. 
 
Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $130,000 – $165,000
• 20% origination bonus on collected fees (bonus eligibility requires meeting monthly billable minimums)
• Health insurance: 100% paid for the employee (coverage begins Day 1)
• Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Coverage and Life Insurance
• 401(k) with 4% firm match
• 20 days of PTO annually (PTO is paid, but monthly billable requirements still apply)
• Performance review at 6-12 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a full workload of family law cases from inception to resolution.
• Conduct extensive legal research and draft high-quality pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
• Formulate creative and effective case strategies during monthly team review sessions.
• Represent clients confidently in court appearances, hearings, and trials (if litigation path is chosen).
• Maintain regular, compassionate, and professional communication with clients.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing Family Law.
• Licensure: Active license to practice law in Florida and in good standing with the State Bar.
• Billable Hours: Ability to consistently meet the target of 125 billable hours per month.
• Work Structure: Primarily an in-office role, with limited hybrid flexibility (approximately 1 day per week after onboarding).
• Mandatory Meetings: Attendance is required for Monday morning staff meetings and monthly case-strategy meetings.
• Skills: Exceptional analytical, legal research, and writing skills are a must, along with strong independent time-management skills.
