Our Client is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and collaborative Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join a well-established, multi-location small animal group in the Coastal Virginia area. Responsibilities:

  • Perform examinations, diagnostics, and treatment for small animal patients
  • Manage routine surgical and dental procedures
  • Educate clients on care plans, preventive medicine, and treatment options
  • Maintain a positive, team-oriented clinic environment
  • Collaborate with and mentor veterinary technicians and assistants
  • Contribute to medical protocols and standards of care
  • Maintain accurate medical records within the practice’s EHR system

 
What We’re Looking For

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an accredited institution
  • Eligible for veterinary licensure in Virginia
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities
  • Compassionate approach to patient and client care
  • Ability to collaborate in a supportive clinical environment

Preferred Skills

  • Two or more years of experience preferred (new grads welcome with mentorship)
  • Proficiency in routine surgery and dentistry
  • Experience with ultrasound is a plus
  • Interest in emergency medicine, acupuncture, or rehabilitation is a plus
  • Desire to continue growing clinically and contribute to a team-first culture
