Our Client is seeking a Business Litigation Associate with 5-7 years of experience to join their dynamic team. Compensation & Benefits
- $140,000-$150,000 based on experience
- 1,500 minimum annual billable hours
- 3 weeks paid vacation + 1 week sick leave annually
- 12 paid holidays per year

Responsibilities
- Manage full case handling responsibilities from inception through settlement/end of representation.
- Draft and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, memoranda of law, and correspondence.
- Conduct legal research and analyze case-specific legal issues and documentation.
- Attend depositions, prepare witnesses for depositions, handle court hearings, and handle trials as necessary and assigned.
- Prepare discovery responses and manage discovery-related deadlines.
- Effectively take or monitor statements of clients or third parties.
- Consult with clients and other parties as needed to effectively move cases forward and to resolution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of business litigation experience (trial experience strongly preferred)
- Licensed and in good standing with The Florida Bar
- Graduate of an accredited law school
- Strong oral advocacy, writing, and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated leadership and client relationship management
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
